thanks Ed, but how?...I got into a contract with a "vanity" publisher, but they were completely incapable and I was lucky to get away from them, (I only lost $450)

Naw, you’ve done graphic design and creative, just lay it out nicely, use KDP.amazon.com and do it for free under your own imprint. It’s super easy. Vanity publishers are the worst. With KDP you keep 100% of your royalties and own the contents. This is not a commercial for them, I use it for my own work. Ebooks and Audible are available as well.

I have 2 HS buddies who publish on KDP too, one named John Avanzato, writes organized crime novels, and he's really good. I would need my wife to help me figure out Kindle, we've made half hearted attempts to figure it out in the past, but then we forget about it.

KDP will do the Kindle formatting after you set up the paperback. It’s very intuitive. kdp.amazon.com

I will second Ed Goble's suggestion. I haven't used KDP myself, but my late mother did, and the resulting little books were not bad at all. Good luck!
